Cavo Beach is the main shoreline of the lively seaside village of Cavo, one of the most popular holiday spots on the eastern coast of Elba Island. Stretching for about 420 meters, it is bordered by a beautiful seafront promenade with palm trees and outdoor artworks — ideal for a relaxing stroll by the sea.
Locals affectionately call it “Lo Chalet”. The beach features fine sand and small white pebbles, while two offshore breakwaters ensure calm, clear waters and even serve as sunbathing platforms.
Thanks to its gently sloping seabed, Cavo Beach is perfect for families with children, as well as anyone looking for comfort and a pleasant seaside atmosphere. Views extend toward Piombino and the small island of Palmaiola just offshore.
With a wide range of facilities nearby, the beach is often busy, especially in summer.
