Residence Villa La Pineta is an accommodation complex located in Cavo, close to the sea and surrounded by the greenery of a centuries-old pine grove.
The main villa dates back to the early twentieth century and was built as the summer residence of engineer Taddei Castelli, then director of the mines on Elba Island. During the Second World War, its strategic location made it the headquarters of the German command and, subsequently, the American command. As early as the 1950s, the exceptional beauty of the setting led to the villa’s conversion into guest accommodation.
Today, following careful renovation, the residence features nine spacious, fully refurbished apartments, each with a private outdoor area. The accommodation is divided into Standard and Superior apartments, with the latter also featuring air conditioning and sea views. All apartments are furnished and equipped with a TV, washing machine, barbecue for outdoor dining, and private parking; some also include a dishwasher. Guests have exclusive use of sun loungers and deckchairs on the seafront terrace.
Surrounded by the scents and colours of the Mediterranean scrub, Villa La Pineta is the ideal place for a relaxing holiday, with walks through the grounds and peaceful moments on the terraces. The residence also offers the option of hiring a small motorboat.
