Cala Seregola Beach, located in the Rio Marina mining district, offers a unique blend of nature and industrial heritage. The shoreline stretches for about 190 meters, featuring dark gravel and mineral-rich sand that shimmers under the sun. Its crystal-clear waters and sandy seabed are perfect for swimming and snorkeling.
Once used as an iron ore loading site, the beach still displays the remains of mining structures and an old loading pier, which preserve the memory of Elba’s mining past.
To the left, a narrow passage through the rocks leads to the quieter area of Capo Pero, with small coves and rocky spots, appreciated both by sunseekers and fishermen.
From Cala Seregola you can enjoy wide views over Palmaiola, Cerboli, and the Tuscan coastline, as far as Giglio Island on clear days.

How to get there: follow the signposted dirt road from the Rio Marina – Cavo provincial road, leading directly to the parking area.
